Plastic model kit of the Spitfire Mk.Ixe, an English and Allied forces piston-engine fighter aircraft with special elliptical wings, with excellent turning capabilities, it was a key player in the 'Battle of Britain' that took place in English skies and it made a major contributing to that victory.
Kit has engraved panel lines, detailed cockpit and forward fuselage area, separate trailing edge flaps and other controlled surfaces, wing machine guns, choice of elliptical or clipped wingtips, detailed wheel wells and optional undercarriage, single-piece propeller with separate spinner, optional canopy and door, 250 lb. or 500lb. bombs, die-cut masks, photoetch (instrument panel, seatbelts, canopy and other interior, undercarriage accents and other exterior).
