Plastic model kit of the Spitfire Mk.IX, a British single-seat fighter aircraft used by the Royal Air Force and other Allied countries before, during and after World War II. Many variants of the Spitfire were built, using several wing configurations, and it was produced in greater numbers than any other British aircraft. It was also the only British fighter produced continuously throughout the war.

Duel kit has engraved panel lines, detailed cockpit and forward fuselage area, optional canopy and door, single-piece propeller with separate spinner, separate (ailerons, rudder and other surfaces), elliptical or clipped wingtips, wing machine guns, detailed wheel wells and optional undercarriage, centerline drop tank and bombs (x2), resin barrels (x2), die-cut canopy masks, photoetch (instrument panel, seatbelts and other interior, undercarriage, canopy and other exterior).
