1/72 scale. Dornier Do 17Y-2 World War II German Bomber. ICM. The Dornier Do 17, sometimes referred to as the Fliegender Bleistift 'flying pencil,' was a World War II German light bomber produced by Claudius Dornier's company, Dornier Flugzeugwerke. The Dornier Do 17Z-2, Werknummer 1160, built under license by Henschel with the full Geschwaderkennung (combat wing aircraft ID code) of 5K+AR, was operated by 7 Staffel, III Gruppe, Kampfgeschwader 3 (KG 3). Kit features engraved  panel lines, detailed cockpit and gunner station interior, forward fuselage interior, separate trailing edge flaps, detailed weapons bay with (x20) 50 kg (110lb) bombs and racks, optional weapons bay doors, detailed twin DB 601A engines, single piece 3 blade propellers with separate spinners, 7.92mm MG 15 machine guns, detailed  wheel wells and optional undercarriage, canopy and other glazings. Decals and color markings for four (4) aircraft: 7./KG 3 'Blitz', France, August 1940; 3./KG 76, France, August 1940; 1./KG 2 'Holzhammer', Greece, May 1941 and 15.(Kroat.)/KG 53, USSR, Winter 1941-42 - includes stencil data and markings, instrument panel, consoles and other interior.
