Plastic model kits of the Fw 190A, a German single-seat, single-engine fighter aircraft designed by Kurt Tank in the late 1930s and widely used during World War II. Fw 190A-5 and A-8 can be built. A-5 was developed after it was determined that the Fw 190 could easily carry more ordnance, A-8 entered production in February 1944, powered either by the standard BMW 801 D-2 or the 801Q (also known as 801TU).
Kits have engraved panel lines, well appointed cockpits and fuselage areas, optional canopy's, single piece propellers with separate spinners, radial engines (with accessory section and mounts), MG 131 machine guns, wing root cannon bays with MG 151/20 E cannons, choice of bombs or centerline drop tank, separate (ailerons, elevators and rudders), detailed wheel bays and optional undercarriage, die-cut canopy mask, photoetch (instrument panels and consoles, seatbelts and exterior).
