The red triplane flown by Manfred von Richthofen, the 'Red Baron', built by Fokker-Flugzeugwerke by the Fokker company in 1917. It saw widespread service in the spring of 1918, became famous as the aircraft in which Manfred von Richthofen gained his last 19 victories, and in which he was killed on 21 April 1918.

Kit has detailed cockpit, wing struts, subtle fabric over frame effects, Le Rhone 9J rotary engine, Spandau lMG 08 machine guns, single piece propeller with separate spinner, separate control surfaces, transparent accents (cockpit, wind screen, exterior), photo-etch accents (seatbelts, engine, machine gun, exterior), fixed undercarriage. Also includes 2-piece resin bust of the Red Baron.
