Plastic model aircraft kit of the British Supermarine Spitfire. Facing several challenges by mid-1942, the Mk XVI was the same as the Mk IX in nearly all respects except for the engine, a Merlin 266. Single-seat fighter aircraft that was used by the Royal Air Force(RAF) and many other Allied countries during and after World War II.
Kit has engraved panel lines, detailed cockpit and fuselage interior, bubble top or high back canopy, optional open/closed canopy and door, semi-elliptical or clipped wingtips, separate trailing edge flaps, single piece propeller with separate spinner, detailed wheel wells and optional undercarriage, wing machine guns, die-cut canopy mask, photoetch (instrument panel, consoles, seatbelts, fuselage and other interior, undercarriage, canopy, door and other exterior).
