The Vickers Vanguard was a British civilian short/medium-range turboprop air liner introduced in 1959 by Vickers-Armstrongs, a development of the company's successful Viscount design with additional internal room. Only 44 of the aircraft were built, on order from Trans-Canada Airlines (TCA) and British European Airways (BEA).
