Description:
The Type VIIc was the workhorse of the German U-boat force, with 568 commissioned from 1940 to 1945. Kit features 4-piece hull - lower port and starboard outer halves, upper pressure hull and upper outer hull, each with raised weld lines; deck gun, detailed conning tower (including periscopes, AA gun and wintergarten), 4 torpedoes, injection-molded railings, photo-etch (victory pennants, radar aerial, railings and ladder), name plate and display stand. Completed model is approximately 7.5" long. Decals and painting notes for 3 submarines: U-96, U-201, and U-558.
