The De Havilland Mosquito FB VI first flew on 1 June 1942, which was almost entirely made of wood, was incredibly fast and incredibly maneuverable, with top speeds reaching 384 mph, is a British multi-role combat aircraft with a two-man crew which served during and after the Second World War. Features recessed panel lines, highly detailed interior sections (cockpit, bomb bay, main wheel wells and nose gun bay), (2) full Merlin engines, removable access panels, optional position landing gear and weapons bay doors, separate control surfaces and flaps, optional position boarding hatch with ladder, (4) figures (seated and standing pilot, standing and seated navigator) and weighted vinyl tires. Also includes wing tanks, bombs and underwing rockets. Overall length 21" and span 27" - fitting tribute to the 'Wooden Wonder'.
